Use of Etico’s website implies you have read, understood and fully accept our Terms and Conditions as stated.

Prices and Currency

Etico is a New Zealand company and prices are in New Zealand dollars and include a 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST). Orders are processed in NZD only and we cannot accept payments in other currencies.

Etico reserves the right to change prices of goods advertised on this website, without notice.

Payment and Security

We accept payment via credit card (Visa & Mastercard only) and direct deposit.

Credit Card

Etico uses Stripe for its online credit card transactions.

Stripe is Tier 1 PCI DSS certified (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).  This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry, so you can be rest assured that your information is safe and secure.

  • Payments are processed in real-time.
  • Etico does not have access to your full card number, this credit card payment is secured by eWay.
  • Stripe is Tier-1 DCI PSS compliant ensuring the highest security standards set by Visa and MasterCard.

Please note that we accept Visa and Mastercard but cannot accept AMEX or Diners.

Direct Deposit

Direct deposit is available for New Zealand customers only.

Please use your order number as a reference when using direct deposit and email us at hello@etico.co.nz to confirm your payment. We will dispatch your order when the payment clears in our account.

In certain circumstances a payment may be processed but the product is subsequently found to be out of stock. In this case the customer will notified and given the opportunity to either wait for the product or cancel for a full payment reversal.


Laybuy lets you receive your online purchase now and spread the total cost over 6 weekly automatic payments. Interest Free.

Simply select Laybuy at Checkout.

  1. Returning customers only need to confirm the order to complete the purchase.
  2. New customers can sign up at checkout and start using Laybuy today.
  3. Your order is processed immediately and your payment schedule is established.
  4. Only a sixth is due today and the rest is split over 5 weekly automatic payments on the day of the original purchase.

Our Loyalty Program

We really value our customers and have set up our Loyalty Program to thank and reward you for supporting Etico.

For every $30 spend online you’ll earn one loyalty point.   One loyalty point is equivalent to $1 NZD.  Loyalty points can be collected on all purchases (including sale items and the initial gift voucher purchase) when you log into your account to make a purchase.   Please note points cannot be collected on any purchase made in person at the Lincoln Pantry nor can points be collected on redemption of gift vouchers.

Loyalty points can be redeemed as they are earned, against any purchase including sale items and gift cards. To access your loyalty points, please log in to your account.  Your available points balance will appear in the Cart.

To sign up to our Loyalty Program, simply register for an account using the Account icon on the home page.

Etico reserve the right to change the Loyalty Program terms and conditions at any time.

Privacy & Confidentiality

At Etico we take your privacy and confidentiality very seriously. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure your information is kept confidential and in a secure environment accessible only to our Company Directors, Employees, Contractors and as strictly necessary in the provision of services to you.

We will not trade nor sell your personal details with any third party, for any reason.

Etico collects personal information such as your name, address, email address and telephone number when you create an account on the site.  When you make a purchase we also collect your delivery address and information about the items you have purchased.  This information is collected for the purpose of administering your account, processing your orders, for our own internal records and for contacting you in relation to your purchase.  It is important that any information you provide to us is accurate and complete.

Etico takes all reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access to your personal information however there are inherent risks with the internet and we cannot give a warranty against the unauthorised interception or ‘hacking’ of information collected on this site.

Payment information is processed securely by EWay.  EWay is tier-1 DCI PSS compliant ensuring the highest security standards set by Visa and MasterCard.  Etico does not retain your payment information.

We will only send you marketing emails if you have signed up as a subscriber.  You can opt out at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link located at the bottom of our email communications.

Following a purchase from our website you will automatically receive a request to review your experience with Etico – this is known as a transactional email.  Reviews help us to ensure we are providing the best customer experience possible, but there is no expectation or obligation to respond to the review request.


We offer free shipping on orders over $99 (excluding bulky items). The product description will indicate if the item is too bulky to be eligible for free shipping.

Once you make your purchase, we take great care in packaging your product/s and getting your parcel to you as quickly as possible.

We will dispatch your item/s within 48 hours of receiving your order.  Most of our packages will be sent without a Signature Required unless they are of high value.  If you would like your parcel signed for, please notify us in the Comments box at Checkout. Etico cannot be held responsible for any parcels lost in the post.

Delivery is normally within 2 to 3 days (Monday-Friday), however delivery to rural addresses may take an extra 1-2 days. If you would like a next day service or Saturday delivery please let us know as soon as possible and we will advise you of the additional charges. 

Delivery within New Zealand

Items cannot be shipped to a PO Box number or Private Bag.

We offer a Flat Shipping Rate within New Zealand:

$6.00  South Island or  $9.00 Rural Delivery

$7.00  North Island  or  $9.00 Rural Delivery

Orders over $99 are eligible for free shipping.

Large or bulky items incur high freight charges, in which case we will apply a surcharge of $5 nationwide.

Delivery to Australia

We offer a Flat Shipping Rate to Australia of $15.00 which includes rural delivery.   Orders over $199 are eligible for free shipping.

Parcels to Australia will be sent via International Air Parcel (3-10 days un-tracked service).   Please get in touch with us if you would like your parcel sent via tracked International Courier, but please note there will be an additional charge for this service.

NB: Should you change your mind we cannot reimburse return postage costs.

International Delivery

We are happy to ship items internationally via NZ Post. Just send us a quick email at hello@etico.co.nz before placing the order, and we can advise you of the shipping options and costs.

Shipping options include un-tracked International Air Parcel  (3-10 working day delivery) or tracked International Courier (2-6 working day delivery).  Please note that if you choose the un-tracked option, Etico cannot be held responsible for any parcels lost in the post.

Please note our rates do not include local taxes or duties that may be payable on arrival in the country of destination.  These are the responsibility of our customer.  Please contact your local Customs office for further information.

Should you change your mind we cannot reimburse return postage costs.

Returns and Exchanges

We are sure you will love your purchase from Etico but if it isn’t quite what you were looking for or you simply wish to return it, please contact us at hello@etico.co.nz.

We will accept items for a store credit or refund provided the goods are received by us within 21 days of purchase date, they are unused and in their original packaging.   Please note the  cost of returning an item to us is the responsibility of the customer.

If an item arrives in a faulty or damaged state, please contact us within two business days. We will provide you with either with a full refund or a store credit if you are within New Zealand (inclusive of shipping costs).   Please note that variations between items are inherent to products made by hand, and we do not consider these to be faults.

We cannot reimburse return postage costs for overseas returns.

Gift Wrapping

Gift wrapping is available at Checkout for a small $2 surcharge.  If you would like to include a note with the gift please enter the message into the notes box.  We will be sure to make it very special for someone to receive.

Please note that multiple items will be wrapped as one parcel. If you have different requirements please be sure to let us know in the Order Notes box at Checkout.
