How do I use my 10% sign up discount

After signing up to our newsletter, we will email you a coupon code.  Simply apply the code at check out (you can only apply only once it per account). If you have not seen this come through to your email, please check your spam folder.


Why should I register an account with Etico?

Setting up an account allows you to join our loyalty programme, which is our way of thanking and rewarding you for supporting Etico.

For every $30.00 spend online you’ll earn one loyalty point.   One loyalty point is equivalent to $1 NZD.  Loyalty points can be collected on all purchases (including sale items and the initial gift voucher purchase) when you log into your account to make a purchase.   Please note points cannot be collected on any purchase made in person at the Lincoln Pantry nor can points be collected on redemption of gift vouchers.

Loyalty points can be redeemed as they are earned, against any purchase including sale items and gift cards. To access your loyalty points, please log in to your account.  Your available points balance will appear in the Cart.

To sign up to our Loyalty Program, simply register for an account using the Account icon on the home page. From your account, you can also view past orders and manage your shipping address.

Etico reserve the right to change the Loyalty Program terms and conditions at any time.


How can I make payment?

We accept payment via credit card (Visa & Mastercard only) through our secure payment gateway Stripe. You can also pay by bank deposit and Laybuy (6 x weekly, interest free payments)


How do I buy a gift card?

You can purchase a gift card in our Gifts category. We will email an online gift card to you, or the recipient, depending on which email address you enter at check out. Please contact us if you would prefer a card version and we will post one to you.


When will my order be shipped?

We aim to dispatch orders within two business days of receiving payment. We use Go Sweet Spot to ship our orders within New Zealand.

Delivery usually takes between 1-3 business days (Monday-Friday) although please allow 2 extra days for rural delivery. Please note that once your order has shipped, we cannot be held responsible for any delays within the courier network as these are outside of our control.


How much does shipping cost?

We offer Flat Shipping Rates within New Zealand:

$6.00 South Island or $12.00 Rural Delivery

$7.00 North Island or $12.00 Rural Delivery

All orders to urban addresses over $149.00 are eligible for free shipping.  Sorry, due to the increased cost of courier delivery this does not apply to rural addresses.

 We also offer free local delivery to central Christchurch addresses.  At checkout, you will be given the option of choosing local delivery if your address includes a central Christchurch postcode.  Delivery will be made each week on Thursday.


Do you offer click and collect?

Unfortunately, we are no longer able to offer click and collect from Lincoln, Canterbury.


Do you ship internationally?

We are happy to ship items internationally via NZ Post. Just send us a quick email at hello@etico.co.nz before placing the order, and we can advise you of the shipping options and costs.

Shipping options include un-tracked International Air Parcel (3-10 working day delivery) or tracked International Courier (2-6 working day delivery).  Our rates do not include any local taxes or duties on arrival in the country of destination.


Do you gift wrap and can I send a personal message with my gift?

Gift wrapping is available at Checkout for a small $2.00 surcharge.  If you would like to include a note with the gift please enter the message into the notes box.  We will be sure to make it very special for someone to receive.


How can I make a return or exchange?

We are sure you will love your purchase from Etico but if it isn’t quite what you were looking for, please contact us at hello@etico.co.nz.

We will accept items for a refund provided the goods are received by us within 21 days of purchase date, they are unused and in their original packaging. Please note the cost of returning an item to us is the responsibility of the customer.


My purchase has arrived damaged

If an item arrives in a faulty or damaged state, please contact us within two business days. We will provide you with a full refund if you are within New Zealand (inclusive of shipping costs). Please note that variations are inherent to products made by hand, and we do not consider these to be faults.


What packaging do you use?

We use pre-loved, re-usable and/or recyclable packaging to get your parcel to you. Our post bags are either 100% biodegradable and can be composted in your home garden, or recycled plastic.


Do you have a retail location?

Etico is an online store, however we do have a concession space within The Lincoln Pantry (cnr Eastfield Drive & Edward St in Lincoln, Canterbury).  A selection of our products are available for purchase there.
